Md. Nazrul Islam is an experienced environmental sustainability professional with over 7.5 years of experience in Environmental Management Systems (EMS), chemical management, and environmental compliance within the textile and garment industry.
He has strong expertise in supporting industries to meet national and international environmental standards and certification requirements, including ISO 14001 (EMS), Higg FEM (Worldly), GOTS, GRS, ZDHC, and OEKO-TEX certifications, along with various buyer-specific audit requirements.
His core strengths include environmental audit preparation, chemical safety management (MRSL/RSL), ETP monitoring, and sustainability performance tracking, including energy, water, and GHG management.

Mr. Islam is currently working as Assistant Manager – EMS & ECR at Robintex (Bangladesh) Limited, where he is responsible for environmental compliance, chemical management systems, audit coordination, and sustainability initiatives. He actively works with buyers and third-party auditors to ensure compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements.
Previously, he worked as Senior Executive – EMS & ECR at P.N. Composite Ltd., where he handled environmental and chemical audits for major global buyers such as H&M, Aldi, Inditex, and Tesco, and implemented compliance systems aligned with international standards.
